Humanistica

Humanistica is the multilingual website of the project for creating a European Association for Digital Humanities. This possibility was discussed in a meeting at THATCamp Florence, on March, 26, 2011.
Participants, who came mainly from French and Italian universities and research institutions,  agreed on starting a discussion on the current state of Digital Humanities in Europe, and imagining a new common space for nurturing and practicing this discipline from a genuine multi-cultural and multi-lingual perspective. On this space we will keep you informed about the progress of this association, which we hope we can launch by 2012. We plan two meetings in order to discuss the goals and organization of this association: one in Switzerland (THATCamp Bern) in 2011, and one in Paris, in 2012 (THATCamp Paris). We may organize another meeting in Florence, if needed
